Work day

It's been nearly two months since I left the friendly confines of the Kessler Care Center for that of LEAD (Le Bonheur Early Intervention and Development) and many people have asked what I now do with my day. Work, I say, work. As you can see below, they have me washing dishes, saddling up and taming wild broncos, and even rescuing teachers from other children that might want some attention.

Steps

My life to date is a measurement of steps, but today I took some very important ones. First I took a few unassisted steps, possibly by accident, maybe out of enthusiasm, or perhaps just because I forgot that I feel more secure when holding on to something when I walk.

My other steps today were the kind that takes you from the first floor of a building to the second. My house doesn’t have these kinds of steps, but as it was quickly noted I was a swift study and after I had a few flights under my belt I became acquainted with a baby gate.
