I helped watch my cousin Brian after church on Sunday--well actually I decided that his car carrier was the perfect size for lots of things, including my baby and me.

Photography 101

The object of too many pictures, I've now decided that it is much more fun to take take the pictures instead of pose for them. I really like to work the flash--I'm lucky in this digital world that I can take as many pictures of the carpet as I like and not be worried that I'm wasting film.

Summer salad

A true sign of summer, fresh garden vegetables neatly assembled as a chef salad. Lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers have become favorites at the dinner table as its really too hot to turn on the stove which certainly is fine by me. Video: push play to begin

Household help

Most of you know that I've had a fascination with the vacuum cleaner since my very early days. My fascination has now turned to usefulness--I'm slow, but I certainly get the job done.
