Animal theme: giraffes

What a beautiful "spring" day. Instead of taking our afternoon stroll around the neighborhood, we stopped at the zoo as its on the way home. Our zoo welcomed a new baby giraffe named "Akili" on January 28th--I did get a glimpse of her (she is over six feet tall so hard not to miss), but since the crowds weren't as large near the adults I got a front row seat to watch them instead.

One little monkey

In keeping with words from one of my favorite books (and yes, I have choreography that goes with it):

Five little monkeys jumping on the bed
One fell off and bumped her head
The Mama called the doctor and the doctor said
No more monkeys jumping on the bed

Well this little monkey, jumps and climbs....Mama has a list of furniture that she thinks is safe. The dining room buffet used to be on the list.
