What a beautiful "spring" day. Instead of taking our afternoon stroll around the neighborhood, we stopped at the zoo as its on the way home. Our zoo welcomed a new baby giraffe named "Akili" on January 28th--I did get a glimpse of her (she is over six feet tall so hard not to miss), but since the crowds weren't as large near the adults I got a front row seat to watch them instead.
