When I was just born and people would ask how old I was it was easy for Mama and Daddy to answer 5 days or 5 weeks, but once they started counting me in months the answer has become a bit tricky. The differences that happen in those four weeks between each month are huge--so as I march onward to celebrate my first "half" in a couple of weeks (half year that is), today I celebrate the "half" way mark between five and six months of age.
Since my sitting has become more controlled, I now take a bath sitting up and eat in a high or my bumpo chair. I've developed a couple new skills this week, the art of removing my left sock has become evident and I have a new noise. It's kind of clicking noise that I make when I pucker--Pete sometimes mistakes it for the noise Mama makes when she is calling him.
Also, I tried the last of the vegetables this week, green beans. I absolutely love them. Don't need anything to soften the blow (like with squash or peas) of the taste in my mouth.
