I'm such a help! I love to feed the birds and since I can't reach the feeders I serve the birds that eat from the ground. Mama is very encouraging, telling me that I'm putting the seed in just the perfect spots.

- Married in Alexandria Bay, New York on August 27, 2002 we celebrated the addition of Martha Ann Mitchell on November 3, 2008. Since we didn't know the sex of our baby to be and looked at potential names for our little one, we discussed family name options—Stairvester Shanks seemed to stick the best while Martha continued to grow and thus we are using it for the title of her blog.
