This week brought my 4 month check-up (and shots). Weighing in at 14 ½ pounds (75th percentile), I am now 2 feet long (50th percentile). My shots were much tougher on me this time. Mama took the day off to hold me and I took full advantage, sleeping most of the day away. Otherwise healthy as a horse, I am now cleared to eat like one. About time!!! After the visit Mama gave me oatmeal and I loved it! I also tried sweet potatoes—I like those too.
My favorite things this week continue to be my hands and my legs. I grab and kick—I am able to grab and hold all of the toys strung from my bouncy and even pull the music toy on the one at Mamama’s house (maybe an accident). I continue to work very hard with Tootz on his name, but mainly just like to hear his voice when he holds me.
The time change has been good for me. I go back to sleep after my bottle for a nice nap each morning. I’m now rolling over for Mamama too as the secret is out that I’ve got skills.
