What a special day! Surrounded by a cloud of witnesses, family, friends, and my Chamber Choir, through baptism, I was welcomed into the family of faith today. My Mama and Daddy have praised God over and over for sending me to them, but today they were proud to be able to do it publicly.
I was a sweet peach today, perfect in way. I loved Dr. Dodson, I think I even loved the water that he crossed over my head. I must have not liked something about the sermon as I made a quick exit with my Aunt Sheri. After the baptism service we went home for brunch and enjoyed the company of so many that prayed for this day. May God be given the glory for anything I do in life because its through His mighty acts of grace that I am here.
