Christmas and Independence Day really go hand in hand as I was definitely going to hang my own ornaments this year. Hang them by myself (indifferent to whether they were breakable or not) and on the exact branch I wanted (branch singular). I have a favorite branch and apparently the ornament load limit for a branch is eight. After the eighth ornament, Mommy and Daddy could be found (behind my back) moving them to create space for me.
